Wanted By Tiwa Savage Makes YouTube's Most Watched Nigerian Music Videos 2014

YouTube has just released its annual list of the most watched music videos by country and with all the ruckus that trailed Wanted by Tiwa Savage, it's not surprising that the single made it into the top 10 for Nigeria.

Davido clinches the top spot with hit single AYE, while Mavin Records’ Dorobucci comes in second place, Nicki Minaj places 3rd with Anaconda and Tiwa Savage comes in 4th with Wanted. Tiwa makes another appearance in the list at #10 with Patoranking for Girlie O. See the full list below

Ghanaian Beauty Queen Habiba Sinare Denies Dating Davido

When pictures of Davido and Ghana’s Miss Supranational, 2014, Habiba Sinare, emerged online, here, a few days ago, many wondered if they were a couple. The beauty queen has come out to clarify matters, insisting there's nothing between them.

Davido was obviously crushing as he snapped these new selfies that surfaced online today, as he makes faces and hand signs with his gorgeous companion.

The fresh faced beauty is Habiba Sinare, winner of a recently held Miss Supranational 2014 beauty pageant in Ghana. With more pictures of the two puckering up and getting up close and personal, some are asking if Davido has an announcement to make?

Emma Nyra Releases Elele Official Music Video ft. Davido

Emma Nyra has released the music video for her single 'Elele', featuring Davido.The video follows the two young artists as they flirt at a beach party until the video transcends to a house party where they eventually realise they they share mutual chemistry for potential romance.

The video was directed by Sesan Ogunro, styled by the renowned Chyna Bee, and shot at Inagbe Beach Resort in Lagos. The song itself was produced by TripleMG's new comer, Selebobo.

The colorful video features cameos from two of Africa's top labels, Iyanya's Made Men Music Group and Davido's HKN GANG.

Davido For Young Person of The Year As Nominees Unveiled In The Future Africa Awards 2014

After a full year receiving nominations from across Africa, The Future Africa Awards has today released the Nominees List for 2014.

The list – of five nominees each – is released for the 10 categories of the awards. Davido is nominated for the African Young Person of the Year, Ese Odiete of Hesey Designs is up for Prize in Business while Ice Prince vies for the Prize in Entertainment.

The list is not as Nigerian-dominated as has been in earlier years of the Future Awards. Last year, only the Young Person of the Year was Africa-wide, this time that the entire awards have been drawn from across the continent.

Davido Wins BET Award for Best African Act, Shares Photo From Pre-Event Taping

Davido has won the 2014 BET Award for Best African Act, which was revealed at a pre-event taping in Los Angeles ahead of the main award ceremony on Sunday night. 

A grateful Davido shared the picture of his statue with fans saying,

"Thanks to all my fans!! WE WON @BETAwards BEST AFRICAN ACT 2014!! so happy!! Time to party!”

Congrats to him! But we have to ask, when will BET add the African Act category to those shown live on air during the main Awards show?

BET has announced the nominations, in 20 categories, for the “BET Awards” 2014. Nominations were selected by BET’s Voting Academy comprised of a group of respected entertainment professionals. Nigerians, Davido and Tiwa Savage were nominated for the award of Best International Act Africa category.
